The cathedral is open Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM and from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, and on weekends from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The cathedral is located in the heart of La Guaira, so there are plenty of things to see and do in the surrounding area. Visitors can take a stroll along the Malecón (boardwalk) and enjoy the ocean views, visit the nearby El Fortín historical site, or try some of the local cuisine at one of the many restaurants in the area.
